She is back!! I Love my Pfaff!

In my last post, I traced this skirt and tissue fitted it.

I picked up my Pfaff, and and went to work.
I used my left over red rouge denim from Fabric.com

And of course I had to add pockets, all skirts need pockets.

Then I needed a new spring shirt to go with my new spring skirt.

View A, ruffled front and and short pleated sleeves.  I traced and tissue fitted the pattern first.  I ended up going with a size 16, even though per my measurements, I should have went with 18, as the pattern said it had 4" of ease.  I did a forward shoulder adjustment and an extra dart on side front to allow for better fitting.

This is an old linen I have had in my stash for a few years.  Probably from JoAnns.

I just love the sleeves, they are pleated on top instead of gathered.

I love my new spring outfit.  Now what shoes......

  1. Lovely new outfit - love both pieces. And a new skirt and a new top just cries out for new shoes!
